In The Golden Triangle you will find a range of shops from traditional Portuguese shops to designer brands such as MaxMara, Lacoste and Marc Jacobs. Located about 15 minutes away by car is the town of Faro and the huge shopping mall, Forum Algarve.
Quinta do Lago Shopping
For designer names and boutiques Quinta Shopping is a must. Designer shops like Maxmara, Boss, LA Perla are dotted around a pretty courtyard style plaza. For ladies, La Bootik is worth a look. It stocks the best in French fashion including American Retro, American Vintage and Le Berenice. Quinta do Lago shopping is open 7 days a week until late.
Almancil
Almancil has everything you expect from a Portuguese town. There are plenty of reasonable Portuguese style shops selling everything from lace to ceramics. You will also find camera shops, bookstores and a large supermarket Apolónia. Shoeworld to the east of Almancil stocks a large range of brand name shoes (including sports shoes) for women, men and children at discounted prices. Many of the stores in Almancil close on a Sunday with the exception of Shoeworld which is open 7 days a week.
Faro
The pretty town of Faro has an array of shops from Zara to designer boutiques. The main shopping districts are found in the streets of Rua Santo Antonio and Rua Francisco Gomes. Leather shoes, ceramics and wine are a specialty. Most of the shops open Monday to Saturday until late with many closing on Sunday.
Forum Algarve
The Forum Algarve has a huge selection of shops, a multiplex cinema, cafes and good parking facilities. The Forum Algarve can be reached by travelling in the general direction of the airport and following the signs into Faro. The shops in the Forum include the likes of Zara, Bershka, Levis, Benetton, Mango, Women’s Secret, Casa and Pull and Bear. The shops are usually open from 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM.
