Praia de Vale do Lobo
Located by The Praca to the south of the popular resort, this blue flag beach has miles of golden sand. It is popular with beach walkers and runners all year round. During the summer months there are sun beds/parasols to rent as well as a host of water sports on offer.
Praia Quinta do Lago
Accessed via a large boardwalk, Praia Quinta do Lago is a blue flag beach located within the Ria Formosa Nature reserve. The beach is served by Gigi’s restaurant and the recently opened Q bar. During the summer months there is a wide range of water activities available including kite surfing, wind surfing, banana boats and more.
Praia de Garrao, Vale do Lobo
Praia de Garrao is Vale do Lobo’s second beach that lies beneath the Oceano Clube villas and Dunas Douradas Beach Club. It has miles of golden sand and leads to Praia de Vale do Lobo to one site and Praia de Ancao to the other. Praia de Garrao is very popular all year round at the weekends thanks to it’s popular beach side restaurants, Izzy’s, Julia’s, Maria’s and Eduardo’s.
Praia do Ancao
Located between Vale do Garrao and Quinta do Lago, is the stunning blue flag beach Praia do Ancao. This beach tends to be quieter than the above beaches. It has two kilometres of fine white sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to hire during the summer months. Praia do Ancao is also home to two fabulous beach restaurants, 2 Passos and Parilla Beach.
Praia De Vilamoura
Praia de Vilamoura is located closes to the large hotels and Marina in Vilamoura. It get’s very busy during the summer months. There are sunbeds to hire and a number of beach bars to keep you refreshed.
Praia da Falesia, Vilamoura
Praia da Falesia is one of the longest beaches in the Algarve, measuring over 6 kilometres. This blue flag beach is accessed via public transport. The beach is clean and the water is crystal clear. It stretches from Vilamoura to Olhos D’Agua (near Albufeira). Take a trip to see why it is considered one of the best beaches in Europe.
